In addition to the above mentioned facilities, we are internal users of the research technical services and technical support of Universidad de Alicante. The most valuable services for this project in the area of scientific instruments are the following:
Thermal analysis Unit: Termogravimetry (TG), differential thermal analysis (DTA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and simultaneous techniques (TG-DTA, and TG-DSC).
Analysis Unit: Ionic chromatography, gas chromatography, high efficiency liquid chromatography, inductively coupled plasma emission spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, high resolution mass spectrometry, and low resolution mass spectrometry.
Microscopy Unit: Confocal microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, atomic force and tunnel effect microscopy.
Single crystal X-ray and vibrational and optical spectroscopies Unit: Single crystal X-ray diffraction, circular dichroism, Raman spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, and VIS-UV spectroscopy. - X-ray Unit: Elemental analysis, X-ray diffraction, X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectronic spectroscopy (XPS), and X-ray micro-fluorescence.
Magnetic resonance Unit: Nuclear magnetic resonance in liquid and solid state, and electron spin resonance
